im not gonna bother to look but i dont think ive posted in my journal for a good year or so, like when i got my trombone haha its kinda weirdi used to just post every inkling of a feeling that i had here but i think since only one or two people read it that maybe its lost some of its appeal, which is funny cause i used to swear that it wasnt for anyone but me, maybe it wasnt, i dont know that many people read it back then either but yeah, i kinda miss it, especially now that i actually have nice to say, and plenty of free time to say it at work, anyway i guess i might as well post an entry for old times sake
yesterday was neat, i went to church kinda late and missed caitie getting her yw medallion cause i slept in, that was lame, but church was pretty good on the whole, ryan efros gave his return address and i really liked it, then cait and i went over to the grassis and had some of their legendary grilled cheese and watched the rm, id never seen it, then we went to my house and kinda halfway watched return of the jedi, then we played simpsons LIFE and had dinner and played apples to apples with my parents and then we took a bunch of pictures that will probably be appearing on our myspaces haha then we played 2 player apples to apples and it was grand
...and i know that its so cliche to tell you that every day i spend with you is the new best day of my life... |

i just got my new trombone. its a getzen 3508Y which is the technical term for sexy. its all hand made in the edwards factory cause getzen bought edwards. edwards is this really fancy custom brand, its been the background on my journal for a year or 2 haha anyway, im way excited but im kinda scared to touch it cause its so nice haha and now im gonna stop typing cause i forgot how to end livejournals

im gonna try to get back into the habit of updating cause myspace blogs and bulletins just dont have the right feel, i dunno though caus i wanna start keeping areal journal like about boring stuff and stuff that i wont worry about anyone seeing. anyway, today was my moms b-day. we went to the cheescake factory and i ate the biggest burger ive ever seen. it had strips of steak on it. it was really good but i felt all full and gross before i even started eating it, just looking at it was like uuuuuuuuuuugh. and so thats why im now wearing elastic waisted sweatpants. i got the most comfortable shoes ever mad too. and now im starting to bore myself. wow i just noticed this autosaved draft thing up in the corner thats pretty neat. i keep getting a craving to play zelda, but last time i did it almost seemed like a chore to finish it, i dunno. i wonder if my journal would come out different if i knew certain people werent reading it. mr wiltermuth let me conduct jazz band for a while today while he ran to do something. im kinda suprised cause last time he did that i left with half the band. we had to play in someones govt class so wew snuck out. i think he was ok with it though. he was way more leinient than sanborn til we got 4s and now hes all strict. i think its kinda sad. cause i know hes doing the right thing and thats what our band needs right now but i know that you can have a good band without all the regiment. if our percussion section were a little more disciplined i think itd be alright. its mostly kurtis. i almost punched him. it kinda scares me how mad i get at him. not even necessarily mad, just dissappointed to a point that i dont even feel like aknowledging his exhistence. its kinda weird to explain. dang im starting to go all frank mccourt and just write in random trains of thought. watch this im gonna show my mom how fast i can type: i cant go as fast on home row but ikinda can. i really should get used to it. anyway,i think im gonna go to bed ill czech ya later

wow i get to be the 1st one to update about the show. it was all going good until we went on and brads amp didnt work, they didnt have enough PA space to accomidate or mics, only about half the people that said theyd come didnt, and to make it all fun the guy at the door was telling us to hurry up. so we get this shakey start without brad and then after our 2nd song they say we can only play 2 more. so we play another one and they cut us off. garza style, just stepped on our toes and cut us off. a lot of yelling went on. a lot. and then we went to in and out burger to make things better but i left my wallet in my case so i didnt get better. dang this was the thing i was looking forward to for the past couple of months. the at least theres that. now i guess ill have to find something else. |
